    The Mala beach of Cap d'Ail is undoubtedly the most beautiful beach in this part of the Côte d'Azur. Access is relatively difficult. You can either get there by the coastal path (through Gramaglia Cove) or by stairs next to the Eden Palace (about 100 steps). But once on this beach, we are on a site out of the ordinary with a large natural cliff and turquoise waters.

    Two Restaurants and Lounge Bars are also located on the beach.

  • The Port of Cap d'Ail

    The port of Cap d'Ail is located east of the town, along the border with Monaco. The harbor is bordered by high residential buildings.

    The 4.7 hectare rectangular basin is protected by two dikes. The offshore dike, 341 m long, is a caisson dike and protects the southeast port. The port entrance pass is indicated by three lights located on the sea dike.

    The Castle allows to organize various events. Built around 1890 for the British banker William Mendel, the Castle of Terrasses knows its hour of glory when in 1895 the brother of Tsar Nicolas II rents the villa for the winter. In the 1930s, the castle passed to the vice-consul of England, Mr. Buckingham, and was sold by his son in 2001 to the city of Cap d'Ail which restores it. Today, its comfort and beauty of rare perfection give the place the sensation of discovering a precious stone weathered and weathered in a green park of about 2000m2.
